Local Leadership Training Day Starts High Schools On The Right Foot

The first Local Leadership Training day hosted by Best Buddies Nevada was a great success!

The Best Buddies staff planned a fun and informative day of activities and trainings to prepare all of the officers and advisors in the high school chapters.

Each officer and advisor was given the necessary materials and knowledge to help them excel in their role throughout the school year, and each of the twelve schools in attendance were able to make a concrete plan for their chapter.

Participants also had the chance to listen to John Michael Stuart speak about the power that each of us has to touch the lives of those around us in a positive manner.

Stuart, the author of Perfect Circles, helped the participants and staff remember that they are truly making this world a better place through their work in Best Buddies.

Another highlight of the day was the amazing lunch of pizza, wings and salad graciously donated by Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza.

The Best Buddies Nevada Staff would like to thank John Michael Stuart, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza and all of the participants for making the day a hit!
